Our Wonder Pope
Do you like people?I bet you do! Did you know two famous people that are popes? Their names are Pope Francis and Pope Paul ||. In this first Paragraph I will be talking about pope Francis first and later Pope Paul || then their similarities. Pope Francis was born on December 17, 1936. His real name is Jorge Mario Bergoglio. Francis first wanted to be a chemist but after going to confession one time, his life changed and he was deciding on being a priest or not. Eventually he did become a priest and some time later, he became a pope. Pope Francis is not an Italian pope and he had many missions and good ones. Some of Pope Francis's missions are to end abortion and to help the poor. An important thing about him was that he attended the U.S congress while no other pope has. He loves everyone and would go with poor more than rich. This is important because he wants to serve the people and be faithful to god following the golden rule. A great thing about these two people are that they do many things the same.
Pope Paul || was born on May 18, 1920 and lost his mother and father before he turned sixteen. He is a non-Italian pope and served for more than twenty years. Pope Paul V's real name is Karol Józef Wojtyła. Pope Paul || wanted to end abortion and also help the poor. He preformed two miracles such as healing someone of brain cancer and him being shot in the heart and still living. Pope Paul || had a love for everyone and followed the golden rule too. He wanted peace and had many missions.
They both are good people and are similar in many ways. In both ways, they both were pope obviously. In another, they both wanted to stop abortion and help the poor. The popes followed the golden rule of Jesus Christ from the bible and love everybody. Both popes have missions to end what is bad and they wanted to keep faithful to our God. The popes lived in Rome and gave many papers about what humans have to do, they both give quotes and help us to lead us to God.
